Work experience
Makers Lab Manager, UCSF Library (2016 - Present)
Primary responsibilities include: manage staffing, scheduling, deliverables, funding, and budget for health sciences makerspace (Smartsheet, Libcal, Trello, Zendesk, Confluence, Tableau); purchase and maintain makerspace equipment; curriculum development (3D Slicer, Blender, Meshmixer, Cura); develop training for internal makerspace staff (Moodle/Camtasia); develop and lead workshops on 3D printing (Lulzbot, Ultimaker, Formlabs, Cura), 3D scanning (Einscan, Matter & Form, Structure Sensor), and other makerspace equipment; manage social media channels (Twitter and Instagram); author news stories (Wordpress) and manuscripts; and graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite).
Learning Tech Specialist, UCSF Library (2012 - 2016)
Primary responsibilities include: support the UCSF learning management platform (Moodle); develop and lead workshops on topics including web conferencing, digital video editing, Moodle assessment and evaluation, and other instructional technologies; serve as editor of the Convergence blog (blogs.library.ucsf.edu/convergence); provide multimedia development and support; and constantly seek new ways to incorporate technology in health sciences education.
Instructor, SF State Extended Learning (2014 - 2016)
Part-time faculty for the E-Learning Design & Development professional development program offered through SF State Extended Learning. Online instructor (Moodle) for ITEC 9840 Managing Learning Systems, offered three times a year.
